Calum Scott drops his new single, the breezy up-tempo “At Your Worst,” featuring soaring vocals and a reminder of the value of self-love.
Scott delivers the bop in a fun, irreverent manner in the upbeat music video, as the song lyrics are punctuated with lighthearted, onscreen commentary.
Scott says in a press statement,“’At Your Worst’ was born from a feeling that sometimes it might be hard for someone to love me because of my anxieties, my time away, my self-doubt, but also from the realization that we are all worthy of being loved no matter our flaws or insecurities.”
“This could be a song reassuring someone that you’ll love them no matter what,” he adds. “But it’s also a song to yourself: a reminder that you should love yourself at your worst because self-love is the most important.”
You know I love you at your worst
Be right beside you when it hurts
Don’t you know I would die for you?
The least that you deserve
You know I’ll always put you first
Do anything to make it work
I would go anywhere for you
Across the universe

‘At Your Worst’ is out! 🧡 This one was originally written from a place of insecurity, worrying that sometimes I’m difficult to love but also the realisation that we should all be loved at our worst moments. Hope you love it as much as I loved making it. X https://t.co/BwXIZdhewE pic.twitter.com/KKcVn3lrR1
