New George Michael Concert Film + RuPaul, Lisa Kudrow At HRC Dinner + More

• Queerty: The late pop star George Michael is getting another close-up in a new concert film based on previously-lost footage, George Michael: The Faith Tour. The big-screen release will coincide with the drop of an 18-track album of previously unreleased recordings sometime later this year.

• HRC: Drag superstar RuPaul and actress/LGBTQ ally Lisa Kudrow will be special guests at the Human Rights Campaign’s Los Angeles Dinner, which will be held at Fairmont Century Plaza on March 28, 2026.

• Washington Blade: The Ukrainian Supreme Court has recognized a same-sex couple, married in the U.S. in 2021, as a family. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has publicly backed civil partnerships for same-sex couples since 2022.

• Outsports: Anti-gay slurs and other homophobic actions, including the benching of players perceived to be gay, are on the rise in Massachusetts high school hockey in the wake of the popularity of the TV series “Heated Rivalry.”

• NBC News: Republican Clay Fuller and Democrat Shawn Harris advanced from a crowded field to a runoff in the special election to replace loony-tunes former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia.

• MSNBC: Rep. James Talarico, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas, with some straight talk – “I’ve had a lot of interviews with national media. No one’s ever asked me about the cost of housing. No one’s asked me about the cost of prescription drugs. The only thing the media wants to ask me about are trans athletes…Trans people are 1% of the population. We are all focused on the wrong 1%.”
