Rourke, 72, told out recording artist Jojo Siwa, 21, “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.” • The Advocate: The Trump administration has quietly removed all members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV and AIDS — a group that provides critical guidance on federal HIV prevention, treatment, and care policy. The administration has also cut five branches of the CDC’s HIV prevention division.
• The Hill: Mehmet Oz, the newly confirmed administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is telling state Medicaid officials to stop covering gender-affirming care for transgender youth. So, poor kids can’t get healthcare…? • LGBTQ Nation: The city of Naples, Florida refused to grant Naples Pride an event permit, citing increased security costs due to a rise in anti-transgender sentiment. The city also asked event organizers not to allow admittance to anyone under 18 years of age — so, Naples Pride is now suing the city government.
