• Reuters: A court in Moldova awarded a gay soldier 120,000 lei, or around $6,700, as compensation for ill treatment he suffered while serving in a military unit. The ruling was the first in Moldova handed down in favor of a victim of harassment on the basis of sexual orientation. • LGBTQ Nation: Horrific video shows a group of men attacking LGBTQ women on a Miami street. His refugee application was apparently refused because he couldn’t “prove” he’s gay. • MSNBC: Deja Taylor, the mother of a 6-year-old who shot his Virginia teacher, will spend two years in prison after pleading guilty to felony child neglect.
