Some news stories for you as we head over Hump Day:
• CBS News: Jasveen Sangha, the woman who illegally sold the ketamine that killed Friends star Matthew Perry, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• LGBTQ Nation: While waiting for students’ rides at the end of the school day, a teacher’s assistant in Georgia overheard a student making homophobic comments. “He was saying he didn’t know any gay people because they are bad and stuff like that, so I was like, ‘You do know a gay person.’” And for that, she was forced to resign.
• Out South Florida: Miami Beach is bringing back its LGBTQ crosswalk less than six months after the Florida Department of Transportation removed the original. The new installation, made from colorful pavers salvaged from the original crosswalk, will be unveiled April 10 in nearby Lummus Park.
• NASA: Artemis II is now headed back to Earth, blazing back home at over 1,800 mph. Splashdown is set for Friday evening near San Diego.
• Erin in the Morning: Mississippi is the latest state to approve a ban on trans people changing gender markers on their drivers licenses. At least 7 other states have passed similar bans in recent years.

The bill also has a provision targteting out of state drivers licenses for immigrants.
The bill, which now awaits Republican Gov. Tate Reeves’ signature.
