• KRON4: San Francisco activists are demanding the release of Andry Hernandez Romero, the gay Venezuelan makeup artist who was wrongly deported to an El Salvador prison. Romero came to the U.S. because he’s gay and was facing persecution at home. “He is not a member of a gang.” • The Advocate: A new survey shows that 49% of Americans think politicians should not be focusing on transgender issues at all. A majority of Americans (59%) support the right of transgender adults to access gender-affirming care.
