Luke Macfarlane, Peter Porte Go Romantic In ‘Notes Of Autumn’

Look for out actors Luke Macfarlane (Bros) and Peter Porte (Days of Our Lives) to make sparks fly in the upcoming Hallmark Channel romantic comedy Notes of Autumn.

In addition to Macfarlane and Porte, the film also stars Ashley Williams and Peter Porte.

In the film, Macfarlane plays Leo, an author living in the British Columbia countryside who’s hit writer’s block and can’t seem to complete the latest installment of his famous book series.  Williams is Leo’s best friend – a “fun-loving, classically trained pianist” living in the city who’s also experiencing a loss of passion.

The two decide to swap homes in an effort to get unstuck. Along the way, Leo meets Matt (Porte), who helps him get out of his way and find new inspiration. Ellie finds a similar uplift (aka romance) with Sam (Rosner), Leo’s neighbor.

This being a romantic comedy, it won’t surprise you that “newfound friendships turn into something far more meaningful.”

As the name suggests, it will be set against a fall backdrop and is part of Hallmark’s ‘Fall into Love’ program.

Late ’80s pop singer/actress Debbie Gibson has signed on as an executive producer for the rom-com.

Notes of Autumn is scheduled to premiere as a part of Hallmark Channel’s annual ‘Fall into Love’ programming event on September 16.
