God, you have to love folks with a sense of humor. The powers that be running the Looney Tunes Twitter account shared a celebratory tweet about the king of animated drag queens – Bugs Bunny.

While far-right nut-jobs are so triggered by the idea of drag queens they’ve gone so far as to pass legislation in some state outlawing the art form, Looney Tunes took a moment to celebrate the beginning of Pride Month with a Twitter drag show.

Amid a rainbow of colored backgrounds, Bugs served up six enviable lewks from his drag-licious animated history.

According to this list, Bugs has sashayed in some form of cross-dressing in over 40 cartoons. His drag debut was reportedly in Hare-um Scare-um (1939).

His most recent drag-tastic appearance came in Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), where Bugs tells Jenna Elfman playing a Warner Brothers vice president, “Lady, if you don’t find a rabbit with lipstick amusing, you and I have nothing to say to each other.”

And yes, the Twitterverse was entertained.
