Lauren Boebert Attempts Trolling Pete Buttigieg Resulting In Epic Fail

Far-right Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has a habit of attempting to troll Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg when anything goes wrong in the transportation sector.

But Boebert isn’t an especially clever person, which became glaringly apparent this week when one misplaced tweet earned an epic clap-back from Buttigieg.

Tweeting a fake photo of herself with a fire hose at the scene of a train disaster, she captioned the photo, “Preparing for @SecretaryPete’s next derailment!”

Buttigieg retweeted it, politely reminding Boebert that her party’s budget proposals include plans to cut railroad inspections. He went on to include some facts and figures as to how GOP plans would impact rail safety.

I’m just going to note that Boebert’s initial tweet garnered a tepid 4,400 Likes, while Pete’s clap back scored over 100,000 Likes.

Boebert’s post was retweeted about 600 times while Pete’s was retweeted nearly 14,000 times.

See? Being clever has its advantages.

Of course, this is the same Boebert who once said people shouldn’t be allowed to come out until they’re 21-years-old.

The Twitterverse enjoyed the shady exchange as well.
