Some news stories for you as we head into the weekend:
• Law Dork: A federal judge in Massachusetts has barred the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) from implementing Donald Trump’s new mail-in voting restrictions. Team Trump is all but certain to appeal, but many states are on the verge of mailing out ballots for the midterms.
• Queerty: Advice column “Dear Jake” responds to a reader who wants to know if he’s right to be upset that his boyfriend hooked up with 5 guys over 6 days while they were taking a break from their relationship. Jake, as usual, is spot on with his advice.

• Yahoo News: Donald Trump admitted in an interview with New York Magazine that he’s building monuments to himself in Washington, DC, because “nobody will do it once I’m gone.”
• The Advocate: A vigil for two gay men killed in a hate crime outside Venture-N, a Tucson gay bar, drew around 1,000 mourners. Mourners gathered at Catalina Park to honor Vincent Anthony Siqueiros and Cameron Davis Capara.

• Dallas Morning News: The Resource Center of Dallas, one of the largest LGBTQ organizations in Texas, was hit by a data breach earlier this year impacting more than 9,000 people, potentially exposing names and Social Security numbers, as well as financial and medical information.
• Erin in the Morning: 21 states have filed a lawsuit against the federal government to block a rule published on Aug. 13 that bars federal reimbursement for puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgery for anyone under 18 on Medicaid.
21 states, led by Attorney General Bonta, are suing the federal government to block a medicaid ban for those under 19 from taking effect.
The new rule is slated to go into effect in six weeks.
They raise novel legal issues, and have been successful before.
