Some news items you might have missed: • PEOPLE: Out Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff (above) is returning to Broadway this spring in Just In Time, a new musical about the life of legendary singer Bobby Darin.News Tribune: A dad put a noose around the neck of his son’s friend after the 14-year-old acknowledged he was gay. The teen’s mother called the police and the man was arrested, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s department.

ABC7: A teacher who says he was fired from his third-grade  teaching position at a Catholic school in Nassau County for being gay has agreed to settle his federal lawsuit. The firing came after pictures of him kissing his longtime boyfriend were shared with church leadership. • LGBTQ Nation: The new 3-part Peacock docu-series, Anatomy of Lies, tells the strange-but-true story of lesbian TV writer Elisabeth Finch – who lied about having a rare cancer while working on Grey’s Anatomy. Gretchen Whitmer, Democrats, and LGBTQ+ people, claiming he would “kill LGBT freaks.” In another, he declared that “queers need to die.”
