• TVP World: A council in southeastern Poland has officially abolished the country’s last remaining ‘LGBT-free’ resolution, six years after the controversial policy of banning ‘LGBT ideology’ was first introduced. • Mother Jones: The Trump administration plans to eliminate services for LGBTQ youth who call 988, the national suicide and crisis hotline, where callers are able to speak with counselors trained to work with specific at-risk populations, including LGBTQ youth, who are four times more likely to attempt suicide than their peers.
The Trump administration is planning to cut funding for the national suicide hotline’s service for LGBTQ youth. In February, the service received an average of 2,100 contacts per day.
