Grindr Announces Support For Age-Verification Bill + More

OUT: Gay dating app Grindr Grindr says it supports an age-verification bill recently introduced to Congress.

LGBTQ Nation: 25-year-old Sheldon “Timothy” Herrington Jr. was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the July 2022 murder of gay University of Mississippi student Jimmie “Jay” Lee. Prosecutors said Herrington murdered Lee to hide their sexual relationship.

PEOPLE: Dance Moms reality personality Abby Lee Miller, 60, shared selfies on Instagram with the three stars of the Broadway revival of the comedy ART (Neil Patrick Harris, Bobby Cannavale, James Corden) after seeing the acclaimed play. But the filters she used to touch herself up made Harris almost unrecognizable. Harris commented, “Ummm… what did you do to my face..?”

Them: A University of Oklahoma student filed a religious discrimination complaint after she received no credit for an essay that called trans identities “demonic” and claimed that gender roles are Biblically ordained. The teaching asst noted in her grade she’d deducted points for a paper that didn’t answer the questions for the assignment, contradicted itself, and used personal ideology over empirical evidence in a scientific class. The TA has been placed on administrative leave.
