Some news items you might have missed: • Politico: Members of Greece’s leftist Syriza party elected 35-year-old Stefanos Kasselakis to head the country’s second-largest political party. Kasselakis is the first openly gay person to lead a Greek political party.The Advocate: Joshua Dominic Bourgeois, 29, was sentenced to 36 years in prison for the 2019 murder of a transgender woman. Bourgeois pleaded guilty to stabbing Tracy Williams, 22, to death along a Houston freeway and dumping her body in a gas station parking lot. • The Hill: Republican presidential candidate Florida Gov.
