Some news items I thought worth your time: • GLAAD: The 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards were presented last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles hosted by the hilarious Michael Urie (above).  Hit the link for full list of honorees. The event will stream on Hulu beginning Saturday, April 12. • New Music: Out recording artist Lucy Dacus drops her new album, Forever Is A Feeling. Check out the dreamy-yet-playful music video for “Best Guess,” an ode to long-term partnership. LGBTQ Nation: On Tuesday, tens of thousands of Hungarians marched through the capital Budapest protesting a new law banning free assembly by LGBTQ+ people. • CBS News: The entire staff of the federal government’s Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy is expected to be laid off as part of a restructuring plan ordered by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Washington Blade: Gay U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH) has told colleagues he plans to run for New Hampshire’s open U.S. Senate seat, to succeed retiring Democratic U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. • New York Times: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has penned an op-ed wondering how much “dumber” can the Trump administration’s self-inflicted wounds get?
