Some news items I thought worth your time: • The Advocate: With threats to marriage equality looming, a venue in Columbia, South Carolina, hosted free weddings for LGBTQ+ couples and raised funds for a transgender organization.Instinct Magazine: The new TV drama series Invisible Boys explores the challenges faced by a group of gay teens in Western Australia after one of them is outed on social media following an encounter with a married man. OUT: Taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting some of the very best (and some of the very worst) LGBTQ+ sketches in SNL history. • Politico: Donald Trump’s anti-DEI rhetoric just scared away a huge sponsor for WorldPride 2025. Politifact: Trump recently criticized the U.S. education system, saying we perform the worst globally despite spending the most.  In reality, the U.S. ranks 8th out of 41 countries in the portion of people with at least a secondary, or high school, education. • Washington Post: The Post takes a dive into the secret gay history of SNL.
