If folks are paying attention, they’ll see some of the stiffest criticism of Donald Trump is coming from not only Republican figures but folks who worked FOR the Donald.
On CBS News’ Face The Nation today, former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr called the Donald “petty” and a “narcississt.”
“The question is, should we be putting someone like this forward as the leader of the country, leader of the free world who’s engaged in this kind of conduct? But the fact of the matter is, he is a consummate narcissist, and he constantly engages in reckless conduct that puts his political followers at risk and the conservative and Republican agenda at risk.

“And he’s a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of the country’s his personal gratification of his, you know, of his ego. But our country, our country can’t, you know, can’t be a therapy session for, you know, a troubled man like this.”
When asked if former President Trump would put the country at risk if he becomes the 2024 GOP nominee, former Attorney General Bill Barr says Trump "will always put his own interests and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country's interests." pic.twitter.com/oAFUtTbTyv

Over on CNN’s State Of The Union, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (and current GOP presidential wannabe) went down a list of how Trump’s public opinion of some of his own top-level appointees changed from before they were hired to when they jumped ship.
“If you believe what he said when they left, that means he didn’t pick the very best people and doesn’t know how to pick personnel.
“If you believe what he said about them in the beginning — the great stuff — then this guy is the worst manager in the history of the American presidency.
“Either way, Republicans should listen to what he says. He’s a petulant child when someone disagrees with him. If you disagree with Donald Trump, the petulant child comes out and he calls you names.”
This isn’t the first time Christie has leveled criticism at Trump.
Trump said he would hire only the best of the best.
