Some news items you might have missed: • Washington Blade: Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, his romantic partner Matthew Smith, and a third man, James Jacobson, have been arrested on charges of sex trafficking and interstate prostitution. Prosecutors say that Jacobson recruited young men for Jeffries and Smith for “sex events” held at their homes. • Washington Post: Donald Trump and other GOP candidates are increasingly targeting transgender people (who comprise less than 1% of the population) in the election campaign’s closing days, invoking them as boogeymen at rallies. • Christian Post: A recently released report, Beyond the Porn Phenomenon, found a majority of practicing Christians are comfortable with their porn viewing habits.
