A flash poll conducted by SSRS for CNN immediately after last night’s presidential debate found 63% of polled watchers said Vice President Kamala Harris did a better job at arguing her policies and countering her opponent, former President Donald Trump. 
The debate, hosted by ABC News, was the second and probably last for the 2024 presidential candidates. On October 2, the respective Vice President picks – Republican Senator J.D. Vance and Democratic Governor Tim Walz – will debate each other on CBS News. Read more here.

Additionally, the Washington Post asked 25 undecided swing state voters their thoughts in real time during the debate. Asked who had the better debate performance, 23 said Harris, 2 said Trump.
