Anti-LGBTQ Activist: Hunt Down LGBT People, ‘Put Them Into Isolation’

Anti-LGBTQ activist Ethan Schmidt-Crockett told his Twitter followers in a video this week: “We need to quarantine and isolate all the folks of the LGBT community. We need to find all of them. We need to hunt them down and put them into isolation camps for their own protection.” It’s important to note that when it came to Americans protecting themselves with masks during the COVID pandemic, Schmidt-Crockett made it his mission to confront and harass folks wearing masks saying people shouldn’t be forced to take health precautions. But now, in the case of monkeypox, he wants to round up queer people and put them in concentration camps.

In another video from Schmidt-Crockett he says “Pride month caused all this” in reference to the monkeypox outbreak. “So we need to end Pride month. All the businesses associated with LGBT, Pride, they need to be shut, ’cause those are the places that are spreading the virus. So they need to be shut down. That’s the only way we’re gonna be able to stop the spread. This is serious. This is a public health emergency, and the LGBTQ community is at fault.”

This is the same guy who, back in May, threatened to go hunt LGBTQ supporters at Target declaring queer people “are not safe” and they “can’t hide.”
