Democrats couldn’t have asked for better results last night as they romped to big wins in several high-profile contests.
Democrats delivered a resounding rebuke to Donald Trump in all five of the most-watched races in Tuesday’s elections, as voters responded to candidates’ promises to address frustrations with high prices and Trump.
Democrat Zohran Mamdani won the New York City mayoral race by nearly 10 points, trouncing former NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

In California, Prop 50 – which will remap congressional districts leaning five districts more Democratic – sailed to a resounding 2-1 victory with a 27-point margin.
Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger of Virginia won big in their gubernatorial races (12 points and 15 points respectively) by touting their law enforcement bona fides, promising to lower costs and running against Trump’s management of the economy.

And in Pennsylvania, Democrats carried three Supreme Court contests on an anti-Trump, pro-abortion rights message.
