Pedro Pascal, star of the massive hit HBO Max series The Last of Us (and the Internet’s unofficial ‘Daddy’), recently shared photos of LGBTQ Pride flags on social media thrilling his queer fans.
Pascal, who has a transgender sister, posted the Progress and Trans Pride flags on his Instagram account with the caption, “The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind,” a reference to Bob Dylan’s iconic civil rights anthem, “Blowin’ in the Wind.”
Among his millions of fans who responded to the post were Matt Bomer, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: Discovery), and drag queen Nina West (RuPaul’s Drag Race). Pascal’s gender-fluid co-star on The Last of Us, Bella Ramsey, wrote, “Love Love Love.”
Along the way, fans dubbed Pascal “a supportive king” and “the daddy of the people.”
When his trans sister Lux came out in 2021, the veteran actor took to his Instagram to write, “Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux,” meaning, “my sister, my heart, our Lux.”
Here’s just a sample of the responses from fans:
Now I love him even more.
