Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winner and 3x Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo will headline the WorldPride 2025 Saturday night Street Festival and Concert on the Capitol Stage following the parade. The FREE two-day event will feature a dynamic mix of local artists, DJs, and performers alongside the biggest names in entertainment and will culminate in the Closing Ceremony event. Taking place June 7-8, 2025, on Pennsylvania Avenue, the WorldPride event transforms the heart of the nation’s capital into a spectacular display of pride, music, and unity, with Erivo delivering a powerhouse headlining performance against the iconic backdrop of the U.S. Capitol Building.

This celebration is for and by the community, featuring a diverse range of LGBTQ+ local artists alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment. The WorldPride Street Festival and Concert takes place on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, from noon until 10:00 pm along Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (between 9th and 3rd Street). This year’s WorldPride theme, The Fabric of Freedom, symbolizes the unity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. Jennifer Lopez is also announced to perform during WorldPride.
