Cast of ‘Heartstopper’ Out & Proud At London Pride

The cast of the mega-hit Netflix series Heartstopper made a surprise appearance at London Pride! Squeeee!!! Along the way, TV boyfriends Joe Locke (Charlie Spring) and Kit Connor (Nick Nelson) recreated an iconic moment from the graphic novel, and more. Connor and Locke were joined in the parade by Sebastian Croft (Ben Hope), Corinna Brown (Tara Jones), Tobie Donovan (Isaac Henderson), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy Olsson), and Jenny Walser (Tori Spring). I’ve loved the series, directed by Euros Lyn and based on the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, since I binge-watched it in May. The series has already been green-lit for seasons 2 & 3! The video in the first tweet shows Joe Locke and Sebastian Croft facing off with some homophobic protesters, drowning out their chants singing Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Guess who loses the battle?
