Berlin police are searching for suspects after one person was killed and several injured when a car crashed into a pride parade in the German city.
The Christopher Street Day event was called off after police said a car crashed into a crowd at the city’s Tiergarten Park on Saturday evening, local time.
Police said on the social media platform X they were responding with other emergency services to an incident in the park close to the Brandenburg Gate, where a vehicle had struck multiple people.
It was later confirmed one person had been killed in the incident, with about 15 others injured, according to police.
