Marcus Lamb, televangelist and founder of the conservative Christian Daystar Television Network, which has promoted anti-vaccine messages during the pandemic, died Tuesday after contracting COVID-19.
Marcus Lamb, a very prominent anti-vaccine Christian broadcaster, has died after contracting COVID. Before he died, Lamb claimed to be taking ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, & other “alternative treatments” for COVID. https://t.co/ZF1NDKrOc2

From HuffPost:
Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the network has amplified vaccine misinformation, giving routine airtime to vaccine skeptics and anti-vaccination advocates. Some guests have promoted COVID-19 conspiracy theories and treatments that have been widely debunked by medical professionals.
On Tuesday’s broadcast of the daily “Ministry Now” program, his wife, Joni, said that her husband had developed “COVID pneumonia” after contracting the virus. She said he had pre-existing conditions.
“He never talked about that,” she said. “He had diabetes, but he kept it in check. He was very healthy.”
Lamb’s wife shared that he had been using “many of the protocols talked about here on Daystar” to treat the virus and that he “100% believed in everything we’ve talked about here on Daystar.”
Anti-vaxxer and founder of Daystar televangelist network, Marcus Lamb died of Covid. He had been taking Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and praying to treat it. VACCINES WORK, not mumbo-jumbo. Get vaccinated.

HuffPost notes that the network has given a platform to “prominent vaccine opponents, including Robert Kennedy Jr., Del Bigtree and Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, a conservative group that pushed unproven COVID-19 treatments such as hydroxychloroquine.”
This is probably a good time to note that Gold was arrested and charged in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
He founded the second biggest Christian network in the world.
He used it to crusade against #COVID19 vaccines and to spread unfounded lies to millions of people about the life-saving jab.
Now he has died.
