• Instinct Magazine: Out actor Tim Pocock (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Dance Academy) shares how he survived growing up gay in a Catholic cult-like environment, his mother sending him to conversion therapy, and more in his new book, The Truth Will Set You Free: Growing Up Gay In Opus Dei.
• Gay Express: Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says the legalization of same-sex marriage in the UK was a “mistake.” #GoAway
• New York Times: The death toll from the devastating flood in Central Texas has now topped 100 as of Monday evening. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick acknowledged today that flood-warning sirens might have saved lives.
• Pink News: Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe will soon be strutting to his West End debut in the role of “Lola” in the hit musical Kinky Boots (which won Billy Porter a Tony Award) at the London Coliseum. I’ve been a fan of Radebe for quite some time. Check out the clip below from 2021.
• The Daily Beast: “Cancún Cruz” strikes again as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was spotted vacationing in Greece Saturday evening – a day after the massive flooding in Central Texas. Back in 2021, Cruz was criticized for vacationing in Mexico as his state suffered the severe effects of a devastating winter storm.
• Axios: The MAGA movement erupted in disbelief today after the Trump administration said convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had not kept a “client list” or been murdered in prison. In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi was asked specifically about an Epstein “client list,” and she said it was “sitting on my desk right now.”
