On September 19, a delivery driver walked into a Blaze Pizza restaurant in Roseville, California, about 10:15 p.m., saw a Pride flag hung near the cash register, and ripped it down, according to the Roseville Police Department.

When the employees (including a manager) confronted the man, he used a homophobic slur as he exited the restaurant. But he returned with two other men a short time later, with at least one of them wearing mixed martial arts gloves. The three men violently attacked two employees. Multiple people caught the assault on video as customers went scrambling. Related: Iowa Man Faces 16 Years In Prison For Burning Pride Flag The attack sent one employee to the hospital. The suspects remain at large and the incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
